​Compass Studio recently completed an interior decorating project that transformed a home in Gates Mills, Ohio. The centerpiece of the dining room is an exquisite light fixture that creates a stunning ambiance, setting the perfect tone for intimate dinners and gatherings. The seating area embraces an organic feel, offering a cozy yet sophisticated space for relaxation. Adding to the modern elegance, a credenza with sleek lines and an organic texture seamlessly blends functionality with style. This project showcases how thoughtful design elements can elevate a home's aesthetic, creating both beauty and comfort.
GARDEN COURTYARD
Transforming a client's front yard into a garden courtyard is no small feat, but the results are nothing short of spectacular. The large courtyard, featuring synthetic grass, offers a versatile space perfect for hosting parties or playing sports. Encircled by stone retaining walls, this area becomes a serene garden oasis, complete with an array of beautiful plants and trees and a gentle brook. Not only does this design enhance the aesthetic appeal, but it also adds functionality with additional parking along the driveway. This new parking area features exposed aggregate concrete bordered by classic inset brick, seamlessly blending practicality with elegance.
CONNECTED LIVING
Compass Studio recently completed a breathtaking whole-home renovation in Gates Mills, turning the property into an entertainer’s dream. By reimagining the layout, the design team significantly improved the home’s flow and functionality. The entryway now features a striking two-story design, leaving a lasting first impression with its grandeur. At the heart of the home, the kitchen was transformed by merging two rooms into one expansive space. This new layout, complete with a sophisticated double island and stunning finishes, is as visually captivating as it is practical—perfect for crafting culinary creations and hosting loved ones. Thoughtful design and meticulous attention to detail have redefined this home, creating an inviting sanctuary for gatherings and celebrations.
